There are certain things best done in privacy and grooming generally tops the list. Brushing your teeth, trimming your nails, and shaving are tasks that are not appropriate to do while in flight in any cabin. Yet, a passenger recently pulled out his electric shaver and began eliminating his stubble.

Passenger Shaving Delta

MilesQuest reported this morning on this man’s inconsiderate predeparture grooming in Delta First Class. Forget about arguments around how to dress to fly, this proves all decorum is gone. A Reddit user shared the image above of the man shaving. They reported that this went on for 20 minutes. I know that I would not have been able to resist saying something. I’ve seen a guy clip his toenails before. Those were left strewn around the cabin floor.

Anthony’s Take: Keep on keeping it classy people. Grooming needs to be left in the bathroom. This should have been taken to the lav.

It’s not as rude as trimming nails in the public since shaving with an electric shaver won’t cause ‘debris’ to fall off his skin.

Man, can’t make this sh*t up ! At least it wasn’t heavy duty nose picking, toenail clipping or self pleasure.

This is no different than women putting their makeup on, which I see ALL THE TIME on airplanes, both in coach and business/first class. An electric shaver leaves nothing behind. If you’re gonna get on a dude’s case for THIS, then you need to shame every woman who’s touched up their makeup. Learn how electric shavers work BEFORE you judge – they don’t drop hair anywhere, they collect it.

Can’t imagine comparing applying makeup to publicly removing unwanted body hair. SMH

The point is one should groom themselves in private.
