Yesterday, I wrote about Just Stop Oil protesters attempting to block the lines leading to departures at London Gatwick Airport (LGW). Passengers were not amused and chose to step over and in some cases step on them as they attempted to get to their gates. The rogue group took to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) today and spray painted walls and departures boards with orange paint. Thankfully, they were arrested.
🔴 Protestors from Just Stop Oil, including an activist awaiting sentencing for throwing soup over a Van Gough painting, have sprayed orange paint on the floor of Heathrow Airport.

These people should all be arrested, fined, and jailed. Today, they were wreaking havoc at Heathrow after their stunt yesterday at Gatwick. One of these protestors is also awaiting trial for throwing soup at a Van Gogh painting.
Anthony’s Take: These protestors are acting childish and not accomplishing anything but making themselves look foolish. They are impacting others who should not be caught in the crosswinds of their shenanigans.

Is this really aviation news? What does this article contribute to your readers’ lives?
They are hurting innocent people who have zero power to do anything about the oil industry. Their actions only cause hatred toward their group.
They aren’t protesters.. once they vandalize property they are criminals
I’m with you. This has gone way beyond protesting. While I do have some small sympathy for their cause as a whole, I think their tactics are just alienating any moderates who might favor them if they could come up with some viable ideas. Instead, their destructive moves should land them in jail for at least months with hefty fines to boot.
