I’ve written a lot about CLEAR and how my CLEAR Plus membership has saved me time through the years. If you’re not currently a member, now might be a good time to consider joining as you’ll get $75 in Uber credit with your membership.
CLEAR recently launched in its 54th airport at Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) and it continues to expand across the US. The combination of TSA PreCheck and CLEAR Plus means that I am getting through security in the quickest way possible. CLEAR Plus is available for US citizens and legal permanent residents ages 18 and older. A valid government-issued photo ID is also required.
CLEAR Plus membership costs $189 per year, but several credit cards like The Platinum Card® from American Express refund up to $189 for cardmembers. Statement credits take six to eight weeks to appear (but I’ve seen this faster in my experience). Here is a link to the offer.

Anthony’s Take: This is the best offer I have seen for CLEAR Plus enrollment. If you have The Platinum Card® from American Express then this is free money to use with Uber.
Anthony’s Credit Card Pick: I love the lounges where The Platinum Card® from American Express grants me access. It has had a prominent place in my wallet for many years now. While it does have an annual fee of $695, it provides many travel benefits and will always be my go-to for lounge access (both Delta Sky Clubs® and Centurion Lounges) and booking airfare from the airlines to earn 5x points (up to $500,000 per calendar year).
