Marriott Bonvoy® and United MileagePlus® have launched a dual promotion where high-level elite members have the opportunity to earn bonus point and miles. Until December 9th, certain travelers have the opportunity to rack up some bonuses.
If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy® Titanium or Ambassador Elite and hold United MileagePlus® Premier Gold, Platinum, 1K, or Global Services status, link your accounts on Marriott.com. Then register for this promo here.
Bonus Marriott Bonvoy® Points on United Flights
Eligible members can earn 750 bonus Marriott Bonvoy® points for each United Airlines itinerary. Travel must be completed before December 9th and only flights operated by United or United Express are eligible for the bonus. This is not valid for award flights or those paid for with a combination of miles and cash.
Bonus United MileagePlus® Miles on Marriott Hotel Stays
Eligible members will earn 500 United MileagePlus® miles for each eligible stay at participating Marriott Bonvoy® hotels. Stays must be completed by December 9th with at least one night checked in before that date. Award stays and those paid for with cash and points do not qualify for this offer.
All points and miles earned are in addition to normal earnings. There’s no limit to the number of eligible stays and flights for which you can earn bonuses.
Anthony’s Take: While both programs have devalued their respective points and miles currencies over the past few years as they have inflated award charts (and gotten rid of them), this is an easy way to earn some extra bonuses if you’re planning to fly United or stay at Marriott properties during this promo period.
