United announced today that it is adding a trio of new snack offerings for Economy passengers. These will debut in March and April, which is just in time for spring break travelers.
These new offerings include:
- Dark Chocolate + Sea Salt Crisps by Undercover Snacks (these launch March 1st)
- Apple and Mango Fruit Bars by That’s it (these launch April 1st)
- Savory Snack Mix by Summer Harvest (these launch April 1st)
Stroopwaffels, Biscoff cookies, and pretzels will still be available as well.
Anthony’s Take: It’s good to see the expanding of free snack offerings in United Economy. I’m hoping that they also put some effort into bringing back the snack baskets in first class as there is no reason why those are still missing other than trying to save a buck.
