Marriott Bonvoy® Moments are auctions where members of Marriott’s loyalty program can bid points for events and experiences. I’ve redeemed tons of points in the past for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Cubs games, concerts (including Mariah Carey in London), the US Open, and more. Some of these redemptions weren’t cheap, but nowhere near the 2.4 million Marriott Bonvoy® points that one member recently redeemed to be able to create his own custom choreographed song at the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Scott Krupa is the man who won the Marriott Bonvoy® Moment and the opportunity to create his own fountain show. While certainly pricey, the package he won included:

  • Work with choreographers to design your Fountain show at the WET campus in Los Angeles. For two (2) people (May 1st)
  • Two-night stay at the SLS Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Beverly Hills, checking in April 30th and checking out May 2nd
  • Roundtrip ground transportation service between Los Angeles area airport and the SLS Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Beverly Hills in Los Angeles
  • Roundtrip ground transportation service between the Harry Reid International Airport and the Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino, Las Vegas
  • Watch the debut of your Fountain show at The Mayfair Supper Club with up to five (5) of your guests (August 25th).
  • Three-night stay in a Penthouse Suite for you and one (1) guest at the Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, checking in August 23rd and checking out August 26th
  • Three-night stay in up to two (2) Salone Suites (each Suite is for up to two (2) of your friends) at the Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino, Las Vegas checking in August 23rd and checking out August 26th
  • Experience is for two (2) people for the Choreography experience in Los Angeles and up to six (6) people for the Fountain show debut in Las Vegas (Inclusive of winner)

Hotel suites, dinners, ground transportation, and the ability to create the show would costs thousands of dollars and there is no price tag for the show creation. While I think I’d rather spend 30 nights at the St. Regis Bal Harbour (as 2.4 million points would get you a month at this property with the fifth nights free factored in), this is still a pretty incredible experience if you have the Marriott Bonvoy® points to fund it. The Bellagio Hotel & Casino (review here) is one of my favorite Las Vegas resorts and the suites included are very nice.

Anthony’s Take: When I saw this auction go live, I knew it would not be cheap. It cost 2.4 million points, which is a lot. You can’t buy this experience, but you can watch the show if you’re in Las Vegas tomorrow morning at 10 AM PST.
