United Airlines announced a promotion today on Instagram. In honor of National Aviation Day, the airline is offering 10% off the base fares for domestic flights booked on August 19th. The catch: the coupon code will only be available to 819 people.
The coupon is valid for flights between September 3rd and November 19th. The discount is on the base fare and not on government taxes and fees. National Aviation Day is on August 19th (or 8/19) and United will only offer this to the first 819 people who text JOIN to 71529 or click here to fill out the information to allow United to text you. When the text comes through, be ready to book as only 819 redemptions will be allowed.
Anthony’s Take: This one will take speed and a bit of luck. Be ready to book your flights on Monday as I can’t imagine this lasting more than a few seconds.
