JWoww (a.k.a. Jenni Farley) was one of the stars of Jersey Shore. Her days of going to the gym, tanning, and laundry (GTL) are behind her and she just directed a horror film and has two children. She was recently traveling on United Airlines with her disabled son and says they were kicked off the flight after her reservation was accidentally cancelled.

United was supposed to fly her home from her vacation (likely to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) since she lives in New Jersey, but her original flight was delayed due to a mechanical issue. United offered to get her and her son onto another flight, but told Farley that they would be seated about 15 rows apart. Her son is eight years old and this would not have been ideal. United did manage to get them seats together, let them board, and then deplaned them as they had double booked the seats after the reservation was cancelled. Two other passengers were given their seats. Farley then left the airport and went to a Margaritaville resort before returning to the airport the same day to catch another flight home.

Terrell Davis

United Airlines has not been doing well on the celebrity front lately. A few weeks ago, I wrote about an altercation on a United plane with former NFL hall-of-famer, Terell Davis (he played between 1995 and 2001 for the Denver Broncos). Davis won two Super Bowls during that time and is well regarded by football fans. He was traveling with his family when a United flight attendant claimed that he hit him. It appears that Davis merely tapped him after requesting ice for his son during a drink service. Davis was handcuffed and led off the plane by police (even though other passengers say that the flight attendant was wrong). Initially, Davis claimed that he was banned from flying the airline. United says that’s wrong and claims that an autogenerated message was sent in error. The carrier also said that the flight attendant in question has been fired.

Anthony’s Take: It’s unclear how this reservation got cancelled. United should not have removed her and her son from the plane once they were already on board, regardless of the reason.
