A woman sitting at a gate in an undisclosed airport looks like she is about to board a Frontier Airlines flight to Orlando International Airport (MCO). She is confronted by an airline employee about needing to have her pet dog in a carrier. The woman than proceeds to stuff the dog (which is far too large) into the carrier while attempting to tell the employee that the dog is now safely inside. The employee is not having it and denies boarding.
@deltababe73 If your pet can’t stand and turn in a pet carrier, it’s not traveling‼️Boarding denied 🙅♀️❌‼️ Don’t keep going back and forth and find yourself on the “no fly list” 😩 #foryou #following #foryoupage #tiktok #trending #viral #dúo #airport #travelwithpets #travel #airline
Per the employee, the dog needs to be able to stand up and turn around comfortably in the carrier. This dog is barely squeezed in and there is no way that it will be able to stand or move. While this situation is leagues less severe than the woman I wrote about the other day who allegedly murdered her dog in the toilet of a bathroom at Orlando International Airport (MCO), this is also unacceptable. That situation filled me with rage and horror. How can you kill your pet? And, why is it always Miami or Orlando?
Anthony’s Take: Pets should not be stuffed into a carrier and they should not be traveling unless absolutely necessary. I see countless dogs everyday wearing fake service animal vests. These pets are clearly not trained and often are barking, roaming around, or getting into things they shouldn’t. Airlines have cracked down, but more needs to be done and people need to really think about how they treat or mistreat their poor pets.
