Italy is one of my favorite countries. There is so much to see and it varies greatly from region to region. I find myself in love with the beaches of southern Italy, Sardinia, and Sicily. I’m headed to a new region (for me) later this week: Puglia. The heel of Italy’s boot-shaped geography is renowned for its slow pace, delicious food (burrata, focaccia, orecchiette, yes please), and beaches.

We’ll be driving around for the 10 days that we’ll be in Italy and I’ll report back with what we do, see, and eat. Expect hotel, lounge, and flight reviews. There are not too many points hotels in the region and with the exception of two above, I’m paying cash rates.
Anthony’s Take: This is the first time we’ll be in Europe this year and I can’t wait to get back to Italy to explore a new region. Have you been to Puglia? Any recommendations?
