Bilt is back with another Rent Day offer and this one could be especially lucrative for Air Canada loyalists or those looking for Star Alliance redemptions. Today (February 1st), Bilt is offering members transfer bonuses when moving points to Air Canada’s Aeroplan.

Each month, Bilt makes the first of the month fun. It offers bonus opportunities, chances to win points playing a trivia game, and even a contest to win free rent (up to $2,500) for what it calls “Rent Day.” Bilt’s next Rent Day occurs today, February 1st. Bilt is a great program with lots of transfer partners and these Rent Day promos make it even sweeter. I am using the Bilt Mastercard® to pay rent on my winter place in Florida again and love it.

Air Canada Bilt

Air Canada’s Aeroplan is offering 75% to 150% transfer bonuses depending on a member’s status level. Here is the breakdown:

  • Bilt Blue: 75% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Silver: 100% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Gold: 125% transfer bonus
  • Bilt Platinum: 150% transfer bonus

I’m Gold, so I can receive a 125% bonus if I choose to transfer points. This presents a great opportunity and even speculative transfers can make sense based on the number of points you can earn. Blue members must transfer a minimum of 2,000 Bilt Points. Please note that Bilt Status updates are reflected up to 96 hours after an earn event. I transferred a ton of points in June 2023 during the first Air France-KLM Flying Blue bonus (more here). I wiped out my Bilt points in 2023 and am going to sit this one out as I rebuild.

These all-inclusive reservations are bookable on a first-come, first-served basis, using Bilt Points or any credit or debit card linked to your Bilt account. Point Quest™

Point Quest™ is Bilt’s trivia game (found in the app). You answer questions and can win 30 points per question for the first five, plus 100 if you answer a sixth correctly. I’ve been doing pretty well the past few months and earning all 250 points. The only disappointing part here is that the points you can earn continue to drop month after month.

Anthony’s Take: I look forward to the games and bonuses offered on Rent Day each month. Bilt makes paying bills fun and the points earned are valuable given the number of transfer partners that Bilt currently offers. This month offers a great opportunity for Air Canada and Star Alliance awards.
