In July 2023, Marriott and MGM Resorts® announced the details of a new partnership. With it, Marriott Bonvoy® members can earn and redeem points at MGM’s 17 resorts. Several MGM Resorts’ properties have been integrated into the Luxury Collection (Bellagio Resort & Casino), Autograph Collection (ARIA Resort & Casino and The Cosmopolitan), and Tribute Portfolio (Park MGM). The Delano has also been rebranded as the W Las Vegas. While benefits for elite members have been extended since last year, there are several tweaks and additions that went into effect today, January 1st.
When booking any MGM Resorts property through Marriott.com, elite members enjoy the following benefits (new benefits are in bold):
Silver Elite
- 10% Marriott Bonvoy® bonus points on qualifying stays
Gold Elite
- 25% Marriott Bonvoy® bonus points on qualifying stays
- Welcome gift of 500 Marriott Bonvoy® points per stay
Platinum Elite
- 50% Marriott Bonvoy® bonus points on qualifying stays
- Enhanced room upgrades, based upon availability
- Priority check-in
- Complimentary 2:00 PM late checkout (based upon availability)

Additionally, Platinum, Titanium, and Ambassador Elite members will receive a $30 food and beverage credit per night at the W Las Vegas.
Lower-level MGM Rewards members will now also be able to link their accounts to receive benefits at Marriott Bonvoy® properties. The matched levels are:
- MGM Rewards Pearl: Marriott Bonvoy® Silver Elite
- MGM Rewards Gold: Marriott Bonvoy® Gold Elite
- MGM Rewards Platinum: Marriott Bonvoy® Gold Elite
- MGM Rewards Noir: Marriott Bonvoy® Ambassador Elite
Prior to now, only MGM Rewards Gold and higher members were offered status matches.
Anthony’s Take: I was sad to see the partnership between MGM Rewards and World of Hyatt® end. While that was a bit more lucrative, the new partnership with Marriott Bonvoy® offers some decent perks.
