The Infatuation is a restaurant discovery guide that provides reviews, recommendations, and guides to dining experiences in cities around the world. It was founded in 2009 and purchased by JP Morgan Chase in 2021. The Infatuation covers a wide range of cuisines, from fine dining to casual eateries, and aims to help users find great places to eat based on their preferences and location. In addition to their website, they also have a mobile app, a strong presence on social media, and have been running an event called EEEEEATSCON for the past few years.
It’s been in various cities before, but in August it will arrive in Chicago. EEEEEATSCON will be held at The Salt Shed on August 19th and 20th.
Cardholders of either the Chase Sapphire Reserve® and Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card can purchase tickets now by entering the US Customer Service phone number listed on the back of their card as an access code. When purchased in advance (by June 28th), Chase Sapphire Reserve® and Chase Sapphire Preferred® cardholders will receive 50% off individual ticket purchases, plus applicable tax and fees.
EEEEEATSCON is described as:
The festival is designed for people who want more from a food festival than just tasting-sized portions and cooking demonstrations. The event features highly curated groups of local restaurants and exciting imports from across the country, serving food you won’t find anywhere else. With live music throughout the day and panels from thought leaders and industry pioneers, EEEEEATSCON is as much about connecting with a community and getting inspired as it is about eating and being entertained”
