Delta Air Lines is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. I recently wrote about its special livery and now it has released a safety video that showcases a century of flight and the uniforms that Delta flight attendants wore during various times.
The video is well done with current employees wearing classic Delta uniforms. Deltalina even makes a cameo in Delta’s safety video and does what she does best and reminding passengers that smoking is not allowed (I miss the finger wag, though).
Maya Dukes, Delta’s Managing Director of Global Brand Strategy, Creative and Social, shared:
These quintessential uniforms and references not only demonstrate just how much has changed throughout the last 100 years of air travel – including habits, fashion and culture – but that Delta’s commitment to safety has always been our top priority. Our safety video is viewed by hundreds of thousands of customers every day from all walks of life, so it’s the perfect creative venue to honor our history and people while captivating the attention of customers as they prepare for takeoff.”
Anthony’s Take: Delta did a great job with this safety video. It’s fun, engaging, and showcases 100 years of flying. I’m a sucker for a fun safety video and this one ranks up there. The new video will launch in flight this April.
