A Delta Air Lines passenger jumped behind the check-in counter at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) before managing to outrun the police that attempted to tackle her and later apprehended her behind the counter. The video below was posted today, but it’s not clear if this incident also happened in the past few hours.

Little context is given as the video opens with the woman behind the ticket counter. She jumps out, drops the rope of a stanchion, and manages to run from the police who miss a tackle in the video. The woman is agitated and shouts, “don’t trust cops, only trust firemen.” She then says that she will kill them. One officer attempts to tackle her and misses. Police eventually manage to get to her when she goes back behind the counter and tries to hide behind Delta agents.
Anthony’s Take: It’s unclear what happened to get police called to the check-in counter in the first place. The woman appears to have some mental health issues and hopefully she gets the assistance that she needs.
