As I wrote about last year, Daily Getaways offers limited-time travel packages and opportunities to buy points and gift cards from a host of travel companies. This is sponsored by the US Travel Association and provides exclusive access to travel deals (discounted as much as 50% off) across the US. This year’s preview started yesterday with deals going live daily on April 15th.
This program began in 2010 and has offered deals from top travel brands since then. This year’s promotion spans four weeks (the first two weeks worth of deals have been announced) with each day’s special deals going on sale at 1:00 PM EST. The first week’s deals include:
April 15th: Hilton Honors Points
- 30,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points ($150)
- 100,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points ($500)
- 250,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points ($1,250)
April 16th: IHG One Rewards
- 2,500 IHG One Rewards Points ($12)
- 5,000 IHG One Rewards Points ($25)
- 25,000 IHG One Rewards Points ($125)
- 50,000 IHG One Rewards Points ($250)
- 100,000 IHG One Rewards Points ($500)
April 17th: MGM Resorts Stays in Las Vegas
- New York-New York ($1,000)
- Luxor ($1,050)
- The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas ($1,700)
- Skyloft Suite at MGM Grand ($2,000)
- Mandalay Bay ($2,250)
April 18th: Universal Theme Parks
- Universal Express Tickets ($457)
- Universal Orlando Two 3-Day Tickets ($696)
- Universal Orlando Resort VIP Experience ($2,096)
- Universal Orlando Vacation Package for 4 ($3,360)
April 19th: United Parks & Resorts Tickets
- SeaWorld or Busch Gardens ($60)
- Florida 2-Park Ticket ($80)
- Discovery Cove Dolphin Swim Package ($225)
Anthony’s Take: If you know that you’re going to be traveling with a particular loyalty program, then trying to top up your points make sense. The deals on theme park tickets and hotels are moderate deals, in my opinion.
