Chase has been talking about launching its own lounges for years now. They opened one location in Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) in partnership with The Club in 2022. Chase also opened a Sapphire Terrace in Austin (more info here). Now, Chase will open a new location in Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) on May 16th. The Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston will be 11,640 square feet and located in the Terminal B to C Connector (between gates B39 and B40). It’s open daily from 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Boston Chef Douglass Williams (of MIDA and APIZZA) created seven of the dishes that appear on the menu. These include:
- Beef Meatball Parmesan Sandwich with San Marzano Tomato Sauce and Provolone
- Shrimp Risotto Milanese with Saffron and Parmesan
- Chilled Gazpacho with Vine-Ripened Tomatoes, Cucumber, Bell Peppers, and Sourdough Breadcrumbs
- Sticky Buffalo Chicken with Chilled Coleslaw and Blue Cheese Dip
- Whipped Lemon-Mascarpone Parfait with Whole Berry Jam and Honey Granola
Additional items can be ordered by scanning a QR code placed at seats around the lounge for a made-to-order dish. Guests can also enjoy ready-to-eat cold plates, hot plates, and sweets available at the servery.
Signature menu items for the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club will include:
- Sapphire Burgers
- Miracle Dandan Noodles with Smoked Tofu, Shiitake Mushrooms, and Shirataki Noodles
- Cheesy Bao Buns
The lounge will also feature a signature taproom offering local craft beer, coffee from Atomic Coffee Roasters, and a centerpiece bar featuring wine and cocktails.
Other features include two wellness rooms with anti-gravity massage chairs, a private nursing suite, two dual-head shower rooms, and all-gender restrooms stocked with Apotheke products.
Local touches will fill the lounge including artwork from Boston-based artist Silvia López Chavez and hand-selected pieces from the JPMorgan Chase & Co. private art collection. The lounge also offers direct views of the Boston Logan airfield and the iconic Boston Harbor.
Access is granted to those with a Priority Pass membership gained through carrying the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (cardholders can also bring two guests). If you hold the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, you can enter an unlimited number of times, but if you have a Priority Pass membership from holding any other card, you’re limited to one visit per year (subsequent visits will be charged). Why B and C only? C and E are connected, and can’t you just go to the B terminal and clear security if you want?
I updated it. Thanks! Forgot about the E connection.
Any guests allowed with non-Chase Priority Pass?
The press release does not specify guests. Only access to one Chase Sapphire lounge per year.
