British Airways announced its summer 2025 schedule today and it will offer more than 400 weekly flights to 26 US cities. The UK’s flag carrier already operates more flights across the pond than any other European carrier and is the only European airline to offer a First Class cabin across the Atlantic from London Heathrow Airport (LHR).
In summer 2025, British Airways will bump up the frequencies on the following routes:
- Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) (increasing from seven to 13 weekly flights)
- Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) (increasing from seven to 10 weekly flights)
- Miami International Airport (MIA) (increasing from seven to 14 weekly flights)
- Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) (increasing from six to seven weekly flights)
- Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) (increasing from 14 to 21 weekly flights)
Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ Chief Planning and Strategy Officer, said:
The US remains a priority market for us, and we know these network changes will be welcomed by both our business and leisure customers, providing more options than ever before to travel between the UK and the USA.”
Over the past ten years, British Airways has launched six new routes to US cities, including Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in 2014, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) in 2016, Nashville International Airport (BNA) in 2018, Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) in 2019, Portland International Airport (PDX) in 2022, and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) in 2023.
Anthony’s Take: I’m looking for a trip to London to maintain my British Airways’ status for 2025 and love that there are so many choices with even more frequencies coming next summer.
