Breeze Airways just added three new routes from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). These include: Burlington International Airport (BTV), Portland International Jetport (PWM), and Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR).
If you’re not familiar, Breeze Airways is a low-cost airline that offers point-to-point flights to underserved markets across the United States using a fleet of modern Airbus A220 aircraft. I just flew Breeze Airways for a second time last week and loved the experience (you can read the full review here). Travel & Leisure named it as one of the five best US airlines for the second consecutive year in 2023. Breeze serves 49 cities in 27 states.
The new routes all start in late May (the 23rd or 24th) and will operate 2x weekly with Embraer E190 and E195 aircraft. With these additions, Breeze will serve 16 destinations from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).
Anthony’s Take: I tried Breeze Airways for the second time last week and can’t say enough good things. I wish Breeze had this many routes from Tampa or Chicago and I would fly them more.
