Each month, Bilt offers bonus opportunities, chances to win points playing a trivia game, and even a contest to win free rent (up to $2,500) for what it calls “Rent Day.” Bilt’s next Rent Day occurs this coming Friday, April 1st and it’s offering one of the most generous perks to date. In addition to the usual bonus offerings, Bilt is offering World of Hyatt Explorist status for 90 days and the ability to fast track to Hyatt’s top-tier Globalist status. Bilt is a great program with lots of transfer partners and these Rent Day promos make it even sweeter. I’ve been using the Bilt Mastercard® to pay rent on my winter place in Florida and love it.

World of Hyatt Status

Free World of Hyatt Explorist Status

World of Hyatt offers three elite status levels: Discoverist, Explorist, and Globalist. These require staying 10 nights, 30 nights, and 60 nights, respectively (you can also qualify by earning 25,000, 50,000, or 100,000 base points). With Bilt’s promo, you’ll instantly earn mid-tier, Explorist status for 90 days. You need to enroll between March 28th and April 1st and  status will be immediately granted for the period between April 17th and July 16th. To keep the status, you need to stay just 10 nights during these dates.

Globalist

Upgrade to World of Hyatt Globalist Status

What’s even crazier is that if you stay 20 nights between April 17th and July 16th, you’ll automatically be fast tracked to top-tier Globalist status through February 2025! Make sure that you register for Bilt Rewards here and World of Hyatt here. You must be a member of both programs for this to work.

Rent Day Challenge

Rent Day Challenge

Three people will get their rent paid (up to $2,500). To enter, solve the puzzle (like Wheel of Fortune) in the Bilt app and submit your answer on April 1st, here.

Bonus Points

As always, on Rent Day you can earn bonus points. These include:

  • 1 point per $1 spent on rent
  • 2 points per $1 spent on travel (doubles to 4 points per $1)
  • 3 points per $1 spent on dining (doubles to 6 points per $1)
  • 1 point per $1 for all other spend (doubles to 2 points per $1)

Point Quest

Point Quest™

Point Quest™ is Bilt’s trivia game (found in the app). You answer questions and can win 50 points per question for the first five, plus 100 if you answer a sixth correctly. I’ve been doing pretty well the past few months and earning all 350 points.

Anthony’s Take: I look forward to the games and bonuses offered on Rent Day each month. Bilt makes paying bills fun and the points earned are valuable given the number of transfer partners that Bilt currently offers (see the full list here). The bonus World of Hyatt status this month is a great reward and makes Bilt even more compelling a program to watch and earn with each month.
