Martin Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic, said:

airBaltic is the connectivity backbone for the entire Baltic region. With the introduction of 16 new routes, we continue to strengthen our position as the leading and most favored airline in the Baltic States. Furthermore, to serve the growing demand on our existing routes, we have increased flight frequencies on 17 direct routes from the Baltic States, offering our customers even broader range of travel options.

We are thankful to our local and international partners for their continued support of airBaltic’s growth over the years and look forward to our successful collaboration in the future as well.”

airBaltic operates a fleet of Airbus A220-200 aircraft that is one of the youngest of any European carrier. The airline operates more than 130 routes within Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus.

Anthony’s Take: I’ve flown airBaltic and had a good experience in Business Class. This is a nice list of additions and I’m happy to see the airline growing.
