Skytrax named Air Canada the “Most Family Friendly Airline” and it continues to add to its offerings. It will be the only Canadian airline to offer some of the most popular kids’ in-flight entertainment through a partnership with Mattel. The entire suite of shows and movies including Hot Wheels in the CityThomas and Friends: Learning with Thomas, and Barbie’s vlog will add dozens of hours of additional kids’ content.

Air Canada Mobile App

New App Features

The latest updates to both the Apple App Store and Google Play versions of the Air Canada App have some new features including:

  • Mobile boarding passes with seamless updates
  • Aeroplan members’ passport details linked to their profile
  • Integrated maps of key Air Canada and Star Alliance airports for easier navigation
  • The ability to preorder meals on select international flights departing Canada for Air Canada Signature Class and Premium Economy customers

All of these new offerings are nice additions for Air Canada passengers.

Anthony’s Take: My husband will be jealous that Air Canada passengers will be getting Aperol Spritzes. These are some good additions to the onboard offerings.
