We flew from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Copenhagen Airport (CPH) today on British Airways in Club Europe (Business Class). Even though it was a short flight, we were served afternoon tea complete with scones, jam, clotted cream, sandwiches, and dessert. I hate to say it, but this tray was better than what I was served the night before on my transatlantic flight in United’s Polaris® cabin. Catering from Do&Co is usually great and this meal was no exception.

The tray came with three finger sandwiches: roast beef, smoked salmon, and some sort of chutney. All were tasty. A chocolate caramel dessert was also included and quite delicious. The star was a scone with clotted cream and jam. I love scones and it was a treat to enjoy this on the flight.

To drink, I did not have tea. I selected a Blood Orange Soda and was happy with this choice. It tasted like a non-alcoholic Aperol spritz.
Anthony’s Take: I love afternoon tea and especially scones with clotted cream and jam. British Airways gets kudos for this tasty treat. I just hope I get to experience it again when I fly back to London next week.
