It’s hard to believe that it’s December and the year is almost over. I’m just a few stays away from requalifying for both Marriott Bonvoy® Titanium and World of Hyatt® Globalist status as well as United Premier 1K®. Everything that I need to get over these thresholds is all set and will happen soon. Lots of news this week around route additions and cuts, the ability to finally apply Hyatt Suite Upgrade Awards online, Frontier is adding First Class, I review some lounges and the meals I had as I trekked through Columbus and San Francisco this week, and more.

UA Scrambled Eggs 2

Airlines

I tried out several meals on United Airlines, Spirit is offering a status match, Lufthansa announced pricing for its Allegris seats, and several airlines cut and added routes.

W Prague 1

Hotels

The Waldorf Astoria New York will start taking reservations, Hyatt now allows upgrades to be applied online, Hilton opened registration for its next promotion, and much more.

United Club ORD E 1

Lounges

Chase opened its newest lounge in San Diego, the next Delta One® Lounge is on the way, I review the International VIP Lounge in Aruba and the latest United Club℠ in Chicago, and more.

Travel News & Destinations

The TSA broke records again around Thanksgiving.

UA Racist Karen

Passengers Behaving Badly

A racist Karen got banned from United and a couple joined the mile-high club in a SWISS galley.
