World of Hyatt is out with another promotion. This time registered members can earn 2x World of Hyatt points at hotels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific between October 7th and December 20th.
While there isn’t a current global offer, Hyatt has been generous lately with its promos. Last month, I wrote about the promo that awards bonus points for stays in Latin America and the Caribbean (more here). A few weeks back, Hyatt introduced a double night and bonus point promo in Florida. You can also earn double points at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties with this promo. Another promo that offers co-branded credit card holders 1,000 bonus points per night for stays at properties within The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand popped up this month.
The latest promotion is focused on Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. You need to register between yesterday and November 4th for stays between October 7th and December 20th. There are more than 325 participating properties (full list here). Earning occurs with the second eligible stay and you can earn up to 20,000 bonus points total.
Terms & Conditions:
- You must be a member of World of Hyatt in good standing and register for the promotion between September 24 01:00 GMT+8 and November 4, 2024, 23:59 GMT to participate.
- To join World of Hyatt and to register for the promotion, visit hyatt.com/2xpoints.
- Only Eligible Stays that begin after registration and are completed between October 7, 2024 and December 20, 2024 (“Promotion Period”) will count towards this promotion.
- All Eligible Stays must be completed by December 20, 2024 in order for them to count in this promotion.
- Beginning on your second Eligible Stay after registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive double points per Eligible Stay at participating Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific excluding Greater China.
- Mr & Mrs Smith hotels are not participating in this promotion.
- Your first Eligible Stay must be completed at a participating property.
- A maximum of 20,000 Bonus Points may be earned under this promotion.
- For a property to be participating in the promotion, it needs to be participating in World of Hyatt at the time of the member’s stay.
- All points awarded under this promotion are Bonus Points.
- You will receive five (5) Bonus Points per dollar of Eligible Spend on your Eligible Stay.
- This is in addition to the five (5) Base Points you would earn as your base earning.
- If a member chooses to earn Bonus Miles, the bonus will be awarded in World of Hyatt Bonus Points.
- For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Stay” is defined as any stay where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a Free Night Award.
- For purposes of this promotion, consecutive nights at the same hotel constitute one stay (even if you check out and check back in).
- Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion.
- You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of check in for each stay.
- Please allow two to three weeks after checkout for Bonus Points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account.
- Except as expressly stated, this promotion is not valid with other offers, promotions or discounts.
- You must be a World of Hyatt member at the time of reservation and stay to qualify and must provide your membership number and be a registered guest of the room.
- This offer may be altered or withdrawn at any time without notice.
- Where required, an alternate offer of similar value will be offered.

Anthony’s Take: I would love a global promotion, but the limited ones that Hyatt has released are much appreciated. Register for this one if you have any upcoming global travel.
