Hyatt has announced that World of Hyatt® is welcoming back tennis star Jessica Pegula as a World of Hyatt® ambassador and becoming the official hospitality partner of Taste of Tennis at Indian Wells. The event will be hosted at Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas and reinforces the brand’s focus on experiences that blend travel, sport, and culture.
Pegula, consistently ranks at the top of the women’s game and returns as a key face of the brand. Known for her focus, authenticity, and balance both on and off the court, she will continue collaborating with World of Hyatt on storytelling initiatives, curated experiences, and fan engagement moments designed to resonate with travelers and tennis enthusiasts alike.

At the same time, World of Hyatt® is bringing its destination-driven hospitality approach to the Coachella Valley through its sponsorship of Taste of Tennis Indian Wells. Held ahead of the prestigious tournament in Indian Wells, the event combines world-class chefs, curated food and beverages, and the excitement of professional tennis in one of the sport’s most iconic settings.
The activation at Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas will feature immersive brand experiences that reflect the energy of the tournament and the spirit of the Pegula partnership. Pegula is set to join Chef Angelo Sosa, the culinary force behind the Tía Carmen concept at the resort (and a genuinely nice guy that I have had the pleasure of meeting a few times), for a cocktail-making experience for guests. Tía Carmen highlights wood-fired flavors and memory-driven Southwestern cuisine inspired by Sosa’s aunt.
