Viva Aerobus is a Mexican low-cost airline headquartered at Monterrey International Airport (MTY). It currently flies to 15 cities in the United States. In February 2025, it will add two more to its timetable as it starts flying to John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) and Memphis International Airport (MEM).

The new routes will run 1x weekly on Saturdays from Cancún International Airport (CUN). The John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) will run from February 15th through March 29th and then May 31st to July 19th. Memphis International Airport (MEM) starts on May 24th and runs through July 26th.

With these additions, Viva Aerobus will fly to the following US cities (some are seasonal):

  • Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
  • Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
  • Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)
  • John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH)
  • Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)
  • Denver International Airport (DEN)
  • Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
  • Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS)
  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
  • Memphis International Airport (MEM)
  • Miami International Airport (MIA)
  • Nashville International Airport (BNA)
  • New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
  • Oakland International Airport (OAK)
  • Orlando International Airport (MCO)
  • San Antonio International Airport (SAT)

Anthony’s Take: Mexico returned to a Category 1 safety rating by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) last year and plenty of new routes from Viva Aerobus, Aeromexico, and Volaris have popped up since then.
