United Airlines announced back in May that it would be opening a United Club℠ in Concourse A and revamping the two in Concourse B. I was in Denver last week and saw that the East location was still under construction. The wait is almost over as reports say that it will open on Wednesday and it will be the largest lounge that United operates systemwide.
UA:
"DEN B East United Club will officially open to the public on Wednesday, September 13. At 37,000 square feet, it will be the largest United Club in the system."— 🇺🇦 JonNYC 🇺🇦 (@xJonNYC) September 7, 2023
@JonNYC is reporting that the 37,000-square foot lounge will open in two days. It will feature 600 seats over multiple levels. This cannot come soon enough if the crowds in both the other United Club℠ and Centurion Lounge last week were any indication of normal demand as both sported lines to get in snaking through the terminals.
The lounge is the latest part of United’s almost $1 billion investment at Denver International Airport (DEN). Other improvements include 12 new gates that are set to open in the A and B Concourses next year, a new check-in lobby, new user-friendly technology at the gates, and a new grab-n-go concept called United Club Fly℠. I have used the grab-and-go location several times and love the concept. United will hopefully roll it out in other hubs in the future.
United’s CEO, Scott Kirby, spilled the beans during a press conference and revealed that United will also be building a Polaris lounge in the future (Denver is the last United hub without one). The company has also recently purchased land near the airport and is rumored to be moving its operations there at some point in the future.
Anthony’s Take: United continues to invest in Denver and the passenger experience is greatly benefiting. I look forward to checking out this huge, new lounge and give United props for the United Club Fly℠ concept.

I’m at DIA right now and they’re letting in airport employees in for a tour. Talked to one who said it was “awesome”. I come back through here on Friday so will definitely be spending some time there.
