A video is making the rounds on social media where a United passenger is shown being removed from a diverted flight. The woman was reportedly screaming racist comments while attempting to open an emergency exit in flight. This is not a laughing matter, but Neal Daniels (who is the drummer from Matchbox 20) was on the flight and played the theme song from Curb Your Enthusiasm as she was walked off of the plane.
The woman is seen calmly walking off the plane with a police escort. There are no other details around the incident and it has not been revealed which flight this occurred on and where the plane diverted. The music is a funny touch.
Anthony’s Take: Curb Your Enthusiasm focused on Larry David and his handling of the daily annoyances that life presents. His character disregards social conventions and this passenger seems to align as she walks off the plane while casually looking at her phone after causing a diversion.
