United Airlines is holding an event tomorrow night in Brooklyn, NY. It offered tickets for 40,000 MileagePlus® miles per ticket through MileagePlus® Exclusives and will also have media on hand. It has not yet been revealed what the theme of this gathering is, but many are speculating that it will be to unveil its newest Polaris® (Business Class) cabin. United introduced the current seats and Polaris® concept back in 2016 and it’s time for an update.
The Instagram post above is vague and doesn’t give away much. Commenters think this could be around United’s installation of Starlink in-flight Wi-Fi. I disagree and think it has to be around what’s next with Polaris®.
Anthony’s Take: More will be revealed tomorrow. I’m excited to see what’s next and think we’ll see the introduction of seats with doors. We could also possible see a differentiated and elevated product in the first row of the cabin. I’ll report back when we know more.
