The Londoner Grand, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Macao is now open in the heart of the Cotai Strip. Macao is a fun destination for gamblers and those fascinated by the intersection of Chinese and Portuguese influence as the Spice Route brought together these two cultures (and one of my favorite desserts: egg tarts).

The Londoner Grand, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Macao, is around three miles from Macau International Airport (MFM) and 3.8 miles from Taipa Ferry Terminal. Cultural landmarks like Senado Square, Taipa Houses, and the Ruins of St. Paul’s are minutes away from the hotel.

The hotel’s design is based on London’s Georgian architecture and blends classic European design elements such as traditional paneling, marble accents, and bespoke artwork inspired by London’s Mayfair district. This is a huge hotel with 2,405 guest rooms and suites. They offer panoramic views of Macao’s skyline and the Cotai Strip. Accommodations range stylish guest rooms through expansive suites with terraces, private pools, and media rooms. The property has a hotel within a hotel called Paiza Grand. This ultra-luxurious private hotel features 313 suites and service from the team of dedicated Grand Butlers.

Amenities include a fully equipped The Health Club and the Royal Pool. The Health Club offers cardio and weight training equipment with lots of natural light. The Royal Pool offers cabanas equipped with minibars, premium amenities,  personalized music systems, and even an ice cream trolley. The hotel also provides access to 15 tranquil spa treatment rooms that integrate Eastern and Western therapies. For meetings and events, the hotel has tons of space. This includes the Grand Ballroom, which spans 52,647 square feet, and can house huge gatherings. It’s equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including LED screens and customizable lighting. The entire event space can be divided into 161 breakout rooms, which is quite impressive.

The hotel also offers five unique dining concepts including Hampton Court (a buffet of international and Chinese cuisine), The Conservatory (a dim sum restaurant and tearoom, a confectionery store, and a British pub), a soon-to-open signature Chinese restaurant (for Sichuan cuisine), and two poolside cafés.

Anthony’s Take: I’ve been to Macao a few times and enjoyed the St. Regis there. This Luxury Collection property looks incredible and is a nice addition to the Marriott portfolio.
