I first wrote about LivSmart Studios by Hilton back in January 2024 and now the first location in this new extended stay brand has opened today. LivSmart Studios by Hilton is celebrating the brand’s launch in Tullahoma, TN. The purpose-built hotels are designed to meet the evolving demands of long-stay travelers with studio apartment-style living under Hilton’s trusted management.

The hotel features 89 suites designed for guests staying weeks or even months at a time. Each unit includes fully equipped kitchens, spacious bathrooms, and flexible living layouts that offer homelike setting for traveling professionals, workers on assignment, relocating families, and more. Hilton launched LivSmart Studios in response to surging demand for value-driven, extended-stay accommodations. It has more than 225 deals currently in development and around 90 openings planned in the coming years. That’s impressive and the brand is set to become a major player in this segment that continues to grow through remote work, business assignments, and workforce travel.

LivSmart Studios properties feature:

  • Studio-style suites with full kitchens and modern furnishings
  • Multi-purpose spaces for sleeping, working, dining, and relaxing
  • On-site laundry facilities
  • Flexible public areas to meet the diverse needs of long-term guests
  • Streamlined operations and design efficiencies for owners

Tullahoma is known for its strong aviation research sector and steady stream of workforce travelers. It provides an ideal launchpad for the brand was developed in partnership with 3H Group, Inc. and Aztec Group, LLC. The brand’s second property is already on the way. Kokomo, IN will see the 137-room LivSmart Studios Kokomo open later this summer. It’s owned by Sun Management & Development Corporation and will serve professionals working in the automotive manufacturing, energy, and industrial sectors.

Chris Silcock, President of Global Brands and Commercial Services at Hilton, said:

Hilton has a long track record of building innovative, category-leading brands that meet the evolving needs of guests and deliver strong value for owners. LivSmart Studios represents the latest chapter in our growth strategy as we expand our extended-stay presence with a product designed for longer stays. The debut of this new brand reinforces our commitment to offering a Hilton experience for every traveler and every stay occasion.”

Isaac Lake, Brand Leader of LivSmart Studios by Hilton, added:

LivSmart Studios was born from a bold vision to meet the growing demand for accessible, high-quality accommodations tailored for longer stays. The opening of our first property in Tullahoma marks a significant milestone in bringing that vision to life. As the brand continues to grow, we look forward to expanding into more communities and setting a new standard for long-stay hospitality.”

Hiren Desai, President and Chief Executive Officer at 3H Group, also shared:

Opening the very first LivSmart Studios by Hilton is a proud and meaningful moment for our team. We are honored to partner with Hilton to launch this new, innovative brand and introduce it to the Tullahoma community. This hotel is laying the foundation for what will become a nationally recognized option for long-stay travelers, and we’re excited to play a key role in the brand’s journey ahead.”

Anthony’s Take: Extended stay brands continue to get love with announcements from Hyatt, Marriott, and others. The segment is growing and hoteliers are hopping in to meet demand.
