We’ve been in Italy this past week with several days in Sicily before we flew over to Sardinia. It’s the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, located just west of the Italian Peninsula. This autonomous region of Italy has its own government and some degree of self-governance. Sardinia is known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, rugged mountains, and picturesque coastal towns. It’s also the home of Porto Cervo, which is known as the millionaire’s playground.
The famous marina of Porto Cervo can accommodate up to 700 boats. Once ashore, it’s packed with luxury shopping, restaurants, and nightclubs. The town is a favorite destination for celebrities and the international jet set alike.
If you’ve watched Below Deck Sailing Yacht, you’ll find Porto Cervo familiar as it is the port that Captain Glenn, Gary, Colin, Daisy, and crew dock. While we didn’t see the Parsifal III, we did see some amazing yachts.
Here are some that we saw:
Loose Change
LADY S
O’REA
A beautiful lineup
Anthony’s Take: I don’t think this will ever be the life I lead, but I can dream. It’s incredible to see these massive, luxury yachts. If you’re in Porto Cervo, take some time to check them out.
