While flying from Tampa International Airport (TPA) to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), I had the chance to try another of Delta’s current domestic First Class offerings. I’m a huge sucker for pasta of every kind and I find it hard to resist when it’s offered. I did not pre-order for this flight and due to a miscater, pretty much everyone received the Spinach Ravioli.

Delta describes this choice as being served with “tomato mascarpone sauce, nut-free basil pesto, onions, and bell peppers.” I wasn’t expecting quite so many vegetables and the flavors were pretty strong between the two sauces competing on the plate. That said, it was a good choice and one that I would eat again.

I started with a ginger ale to drink. There was no snack basket offered on this flight.

The tray came with a cold and inedible bread roll (the flight attendants made no effort to heat it) as well as the Tiramisu.

Delta has served so much Tiramisu. It’s time to retire it. It’s not well made and the Do & Co Chocolate Mousse that appears on some trays blows it out of the water.

Anthony’s Take: Spinach Ravioli makes for a nice meal. The bread roll should have been warmed and the Tiramisu thrown away, but the main was pretty tasty.
