Today, I got to try the Green Coconut Curry Prawns while flying between Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Delta Air Lines. The dish had a subtle flavor and I found it to be an acceptable lunch.
The Green Coconut Curry Prawns are only available when pre-ordered. I placed mine as soon as I got the email notification.
The tray included a green salad as well as dessert. The main dish was okay, overall. The flavors were pretty bland (I like spice), but at least the rice was not mushy. The shrimp were slightly overcooked. I wish Delta gave some chili sauce or something to add to the dish to make it spicier. The veggies were a nice addition and it looked better once mixed.
The dessert was the highlight of the meal. The Vanilla Panna Cotta was perfect in texture and taste. Do&Co generally provides excellent desserts and this one was delicious.
Anthony’s Take: Would I order this again? Yes. Would it be my first choice? Nope. I like curry spicy and this was the mildest one I ever had. It wasn’t bad, but had a very slight flavor.
