Today, I flew from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to Tampa International Airport (TPA). I was thinking about ordering the Greek Pastitsio again, but decided to try the Chicken Pizzaiola. The dish was not my favorite, but I have no complaints about the flavors. It’s hearty and pretty filling.
The Chicken Pizzaiola does not need to be preordered and United Airlines was offering a choice between it and the Porcini Tortelloni (review here) on the flight. The dish features chicken in tomato sauce with cheese and it’s served with garlic polenta and broccolini.
The tray came with a warmed semolina roll, a green salad, and Magnolia Bakery’s Chocolatey Hazelnut Swirl Pudding for dessert.
I am not a fan of this flavor and really want United to go back to the original. I did not eat it today.
Anthony’s Take: The chicken was cooked well and I enjoyed the flavors. The polenta was particularly good. This made for a nice lunch and I would order it again.
