I’ve written a lot about CLEAR and find that it’s a good membership to have in your travel toolkit. The service continues to expand with new airports added almost monthly. CLEAR has saved me tons of time through the years. Having CLEAR ensures that I will get through security quickly and I don’t even need to take out my ID. Now, the lines have gotten longer, but I still value the membership. Right now, there is a targeted promo out where CLEAR Plus members can get a free one-year Founders Card membership.
If you’re not familiar with Founders Card, it’s a membership community. It originally targeted entrepreneurs, creatives, and some execs. It’s opened up quite a bit over the years. Membership provides access to a portfolio of over 500 benefits and it costs between $395 and $995 (depending on if you’re getting a discount through buying its Elite tier).
I’ve been a Founders Card member since 2015. The biggest benefit is the complimentary Caesars Rewards Diamond status it offers. This provides comped rooms, promos, a $100 annual celebration dinner, and more. Several readers have pointed out that this is not included in this free membership, but there is also a host of other travel benefits with Founders Card, including:
- Virgin Atlantic elite status
- Discounts on airfare (carriers include Alaska, Singapore, United, Qatar, and more)
- Hilton Honors Gold status
- IHG One Rewards Gold status
- Discounts on rental cars
- Discounts on cruises (including up to 55% off Virgin Voyages)
Click here to see if you’re eligible.
Anthony’s Take: This is a great offer and if I was not a member already, I would jump on it immediately. The loss of Caesars benefits with this freebie is disappointing, but there are other valuable offers still included.

This is only the basic $395 membership and does NOT included Caesars Diamond. You have to pay $295 more to get the full package that included that.
I made a note that Caesars is not included. Thanks!
Yeah there really is very little (if any) value with the basic free membership: https://eyeoftheflyer.com/founders-clear-2/
I jumped on this too only to find this is more a bait and switch. The Caesars and other rewards program-based items are all held back unless you pay the additional premium. Its not really a FoundersClub membership – just lets you peek behind the curtain.
