Southwest Airlines offers all passengers free nonalcoholic beverages on its flights every day. On Valentine’s Day (tomorrow), Southwest will also offer guests (ages 21 and over) a complimentary alcoholic beverage.

Southwest does lots of cute, holiday-themed things throughout the year and tries to bring a bit of fun on its flights. In addition to free drinks on Valentine’s Day, The Points Guy reports that passengers can also get free drinks on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th), Southwest’s birthday (June 18th), and Halloween (October 31st).

Free drinks aren’t just on holidays at Southwest, either. Southwest A-List Preferred members get up to two free premium drinks on flights over 176 miles. Those purchasing Business Select tickets also receive a complimentary alcoholic beverage.

Anthony’s Take: This is a nice gesture and a fun treat for flyers on Valentine’s Day. It will generate goodwill for Southwest and surprise many passengers who are unaware of this offering.
