Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) is celebrating International Relaxation Day with its new Wellbeing Collection. This curated group of 15 luxury properties worldwide offers restorative experiences that go beyond traditional spa services. Each hotel blends environment, design, service, and philosophy to promote rest, reconnection, and resilience.
The launch follows insights from SLH’s Restless Traveller Report, which surveyed 6,000 adults in the UK, US, and Australia. Results showed 72% feel tired, 60% say modern life prevents true rest, and 89% view travel as key to holistic wellbeing (especially nature-based and wellness-focused trips). The Wellbeing Collection spans Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Offerings range from forest bathing and wild swimming to cultural rituals, personalized wellness programs, and seasonal cuisine. Each property has been vetted by SLH’s Wellbeing Industry Experts to ensure genuine, long-term benefits.
The properties that made the Wellbeing Collection’s inaugural selection include:
- Acro Suites (Crete, Greece)
- eriro (Ehrwald, Austria)

Anthony’s Take: I have long been a fan of SLH and the quirky, unique properties that make up its portfolio. Some of these highlighted hotels look interesting.
