Hampton by Hilton is known for its signature waffles and toppings. These have a cult following and die-hard fans have their favorite combos when staying at the hotels. Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media recently collaborated with the hotel brand to create the Sparkling Strawberry Hampton Waffle by Paris Hilton.

Guests can now enjoy the new waffle at more than 2,400 hotels in the US and Canada. For the first time, they can also purchase the waffle mix with edible glitter online to recreate Hampton’s breakfast experience at home. The waffles are inspired by Paris Hilton’s signature style. A Sparkling Strawberry Hampton Waffle Kit is available for $29.99 at ShopHampton.com/Waffles (while supplies last). The kit includes a 33-ounce canister of waffle mix, a container of edible glitter, and Paris Hilton’s personal recipe for elevating breakfast.

Hampton by Hilton celebrated its 40th birthday, in August. It celebrated with Birthday Cake waffles (more here). I found it fascinating to see how the chain was formed and grew into what it is today. It started in 1984 as Hampton Inn and was owned by the Holiday Corporation, which also used to own Holiday Inn. In 1989, it sold Holiday Inn and became Promus Hotel Corporation. Promus also owned several other brands that are now in the Hilton portfolio including Embassy Suites and Homewood Suites. The Hampton Inn brand was revamped and evolved from a budget hotel to a middle-market limited service hotel. By 1990, Hampton had 220 locations. In 1999, Hilton purchased Promus for $3.7 billion and added the three brands to its roster.

Anthony’s Take: Who doesn’t love a hot waffle? Paris Hilton is a genius when it comes to branding and these are definitely on brand.
