Vietnam is making some hotel news today. Earlier, I wrote about the Legacy Mekong, Can Tho, Autograph Collection opening along the Hau River. Now, Hyatt continues its expansion across the Asia-Pacific region with the official debut of the Unscripted Collection in Vietnam. Beginning today, December 1st, six Wink Hotels will be reflagged under Hyatt’s recently launched, conversion-friendly Unscripted brand. This allows World of Hyatt® members the ability to earn points and elite-qualifying nights at these properties.

Wink Hotel Danang Riverside

The announcement marks a major milestone for the Unscripted Collection, which Hyatt introduced in May as a flexible lifestyle brand designed for easy conversions. The first hotels joining the portfolio are all existing Wink properties located in key business and leisure hubs across Vietnam, including:

Although Wink Hotels also operates a property in Hanoi, it is not included in this initial integration.

For travelers in Southeast Asia, the addition of six new Unscripted properties presents an easy way to engage with Hyatt’s growing lifestyle portfolio. Members will earn standard World of Hyatt® points and credit toward elite status. Wink Hotels are known for providing stylish, efficient accommodations at affordable rates. Typical nightly prices fall between $38 and $62, positioning these properties as appealing options for value-conscious travelers.

Wink Hotel Saigon

A standout feature of the Wink brand is its signature 24-hour stay model. Guests enjoy a full 24 hours from the time they check in, whether they arrive at 8:00 AM or 8:00 PM. Unscripted integrations often standardize policies, but Hyatt’s published property details indicate that this flexible benefit will continue at the six reflagged hotels. This retention of this benefit further reinforces the Unscripted Collection’s mission to preserve the individuality and character of its properties while weaving them into the Hyatt ecosystem.

Hyatt has been expanding aggressively within the lifestyle, boutique, and independent-minded space. The arrival of Unscripted in Vietnam demonstrates its commitment to growth in fast-developing markets. The Wink partnership brings fresh energy to the brand’s rollout and deepens Hyatt’s presence throughout Vietnam’s urban and coastal regions, including Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Can Tho, Hai Phong, and Tuy Hoa.

Anthony’s Take: Hyatt’s Unscripted Collection officially welcomes its first six hotels today, December 1st. This continues to grow the World of Hyatt® portfolio and I love that the options keep growing month after month.
