Silver Airways is a regional airline headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL. It flies to the Caribbean and to a handful of cities in the southeast. I’ve flown them to San Juan, Great Exuma, and St. Kitts. The carrier just bumped up the frequencies on three destinations from Tampa International Airport (TPA), which will all begin flying on October 7th.
NASSAU, TALLAHASSEE AND KEY WEST – OH MY! 😍 Beginning October 7, Silver will expand these popular routes at TPA by going daily to Nassau, offering 2x daily flights to Tallahassee and operating 3x flights each day to Key West! 🌴

Next month, the following routes will commence flying to/from Tampa International Airport (TPA):
- Key West International Airport (EYW) (increases from 2x to 3x daily)
- Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) (increases from 4x weekly to daily)
- Tallahassee International Airport (TLH) (increases from 1x to 2x daily)
Anthony’s Take: I have had good flights on Silver Airways and also experiences where the flight was so delayed that I booked on another airline. I’m always excited for increased service in Tampa.
