Hilton has a portfolio of 22 brands globally. One of the newer ones is called Signia by Hilton, which is described as “a portfolio of exceptional hotels in gateway cities and resort destinations.” The newest hotel for this brand (and first international one) has been announced and it will open in Amman, Jordan in January 2025. There are currently three other locations: Atlanta, Orlando, and San Jose.

The 272-room Signia by Hilton is located in downtown Amman. It will offer a cutting-edge convention center that can accommodate 3,400 people and 20 meeting spaces. The hotel is strategically located in the Shmeisani business district and a short walk to Al Abdali Mall and Abdali Boulevard. Various international banks, multi-national corporates, and NGOs also have headquarters in the area. Prince Hashem Bird Garden and Haya Cultural Center are less than a mile away.

All of the guest rooms and suites offer lots of natural light and sweeping views with premium finishes and in-room amenities. The hotel will offer an exclusive Club Signia experience reserved solely for club rooms and suites. It provides private lounge access, dedicated concierge services, enhanced in-room amenities, and personalized services.

Other amenities include a spa, fitness center, and outdoor pool. Seven dining venues will showcase both local and international cuisines in an all-day restaurant, a lobby cafe, bar and lounge, a pool bar and grill, a specialty restaurant and bar, a destination bar, and an upscale bowling and entertainment center.

Guests can also retreat in a range of wellness and leisure offerings, from a state-of-the-art spa offering rejuvenating, bespoke treatments, to a fully equipped fitness centre featuring the latest technology and training programmes, and an outdoor pool.

Carlos Khneisser, Vice President, Development, MEA at Hilton, said:

We continue to grow and diversify our presence in the MEA region with more than 300 properties trading or under development across 12 brands to meet the needs of business and leisure travelers. The debut of Signia by Hilton Amman is a testament to this, delivering elegant guest rooms, stylish and elevated meeting spaces, and exceptional culinary options, catering to both visitors and residents of the vibrant Jordanian capital.”

Teddy Berlin, Brand Leader of Signia by Hilton, added:

We look forward to welcoming discerning travelers to experience a sophisticated stay at Signia by Hilton Amman as we mark the brand’s international debut. Amman’s role as a central business hub for the region and its proximity to Jordan’s cultural landmarks make Signia by Hilton a great fit for this destination and our first property outside of the United States. This hotel will perfectly blend style with functionality, delivering a vibrant atmosphere, cosmopolitan amenities and personalised service coupled with unparalleled meetings and events offerings.”

Anthony’s Take: This hotel looks beautiful and the brand is a nice competitor to the Grand Hyatt and many of Marriott’s more upscale convention center hotels.
