It’s almost time for another Bilt Rent Day. This month Bilt is offering free SoulCycle rides, which is not that exciting for most travel enthusiasts, but it will provide an opportunity for many free rent winners. One rider at each of more than 50 SoulCycle Rent Day Rides will win up to $2,500 to pay their rent for the month of September.
Each month, Bilt makes the first of the month fun. It offers bonus opportunities, chances to win points playing a trivia game, and even a contest to win free rent (up to $2,500) for what it calls “Rent Day.” Bilt’s next Rent Day occurs on Friday, September 1st. Bilt is a great program with lots of transfer partners and these Rent Day promos make it even sweeter. I used the Bilt Mastercard® to pay rent on my winter place in Florida this past year and will again when we move down there for the winter. I’ll keep using it for restaurants and other charges on the first to earn double points until I’m back paying rent again.
Unlike other months where Bilt has offered transfer bonuses and elite status for travel partners, this month’s Rent Day is focused on fitness. Bilt members can book complimentary bikes at every Bilt x SoulCycle Rent Day Ride (these occur on September 1st) at all SoulCycle studios. Beginning today, complimentary rides can be booked in the Bilt app. There are 10 complimentary bikes available per class, on a first come, first served basis.
Additionally, the Bilt x SoulCycle Rent Day Ride on September 1st will have one rider in every Rent Day Ride win up to $2,500 to pay their rent for the month. This means that over $125,000 worth of paid rent could be awarded.
RentFree
This month Bilt is partnering with real estate mogul, best-selling author, and Million Dollar Listing New York star Ryan Serhant to play Rent Free alongside Bilt Founder and CEO, Ankur Jain. The better he plays, the more rent Bilt will pay. To enter, answer the question in the Bilt app and submit your answer by September 1st, here.
Bonus Points
As always, on Rent Day you can earn bonus points. These include:
- 1 point per $1 spent on rent
- 2 points per $1 spent on travel (doubles to 4 points per $1)
- 3 points per $1 spent on dining (doubles to 6 points per $1)
- 1 point per $1 for all other spend (doubles to 2 points per $1)
Point Quest™
Point Quest™ is Bilt’s trivia game (found in the app). You answer questions and can win an increasing number of points per question, plus 100 if you answer a sixth correctly. I’ve been doing pretty well the past few months and earning all 350 points. This drops to 250 possible in September.
Anthony’s Take: I look forward to the games and bonuses offered on Rent Day each month. Bilt makes paying bills fun and the points earned are valuable given the number of transfer partners that Bilt currently offers. I’m not a SoulCycle fan, so this month will not be of much interest to me other than the usual bonus points for spend.
