Cape Air is undergoing a major route expansion this summer with five new routes across the Northeastern United States and the Caribbean, including a route from Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) that was recently vacated by JetBlue.

Flights between Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) will run 4x daily and be operated by Cape Air’s modern nine-seat Tecnam P2012 Traveller. It offers a smooth and efficient alternative for Hamptons-area travelers heading to New England.

Beyond Long Island, Cape Air’s expansion includes:

  • New Bedford Regional Airport (EWB) to/from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) (2x daily; starts on September 29th)
  • Norwood Memorial Airport (OWD) to/from Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK) and Martha’s Vineyard Airport (MVY) (both start on July 3rd and run seasonally)
  • St. Thomas’ Cyril E. King Airport (STT) to St. Barthélemy’s Gustaf III Airport (SBH) (2x daily; starts on October 13th)

Aaron Blinka, Vice President of Planning at Cape Air, said:

This is a significant moment for Cape Air. Each new route reflects our commitment to thoughtful, strategic growth—connecting more communities with smarter, more convenient travel options. Whether it’s streamlining access to major hubs like Boston, offering new links to the islands, or expanding our Caribbean presence, this is Cape Air building the future of regional air travel. We’re proud to be growing in a way that brings real value to our customers, partners, and the regions we serve.”

All routes are now available for booking. Cape Air partners with JetBlue and flyers can earn TrueBlue points on some routes.

Anthony’s Take: I’ve flown Cape Air between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Provincetown Municipal Airport (PVC). It’s a fun way to get around New England. It’s great to see Cape Air step in where JetBlue retreated as well.
