In June 2024, I wrote about a new partnership between Starbucks and Marriott Bonvoy®. The collaboration allows members of both rewards programs to earn bonus points and stars. This week is being deemed a “Marriott Bonvoy® Week” at Starbucks and there is an additional opportunity to earn Marriott Bonvoy® points. I’m happy to see the promo return to a cap of 500 Marriott Bonvoy® points with five purchases. It started as 500 with three purchases, but in January it dropped to a paltry 100 Marriott Bonvoy® points for three purchases and then bumped back up to 200 points with two purchases in February. Last month, the promo came back with the opportunity to earn 300 points with three qualifying purchases and now we’re back to 500 points max. While none of these amounts are anything huge, I’ll take every point (especially since I am in Starbucks daily).
Between April 14th (today) and 20th, members enrolled in both programs with their accounts linked (do so here) can earn up to 500 Marriott Bonvoy® points for making five qualifying purchases during this time. The good news is that if you don’t go five times, you earn 100 points per visit (so, you could earn 100, 200, 300, 400, or 500 points).
Anthony’s Take: Earn your bonus points this week at Starbucks. I’m at Starbucks daily anyway, but I wish the points would be higher. I guess I should be happy it’s back to 500.
