Delta Air Lines and the Italian fashion house, Missoni, signed a partnership deal a few years back. We’ve seen Missoni accessories make their way into the Delta One® Lounges and amenity kits roll out in flight. Now, the long-awaited Missoni bedding is making its way onto planes and travelers will soon get to experience this luxurious setup.

The continued rollout with bedding was to have been already added to the in-flight amenities offered on long-haul Delta One® flights. This was first announced in June 2024 and was expected to be on aircraft across the fleet this month. Last month, I reported that the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration would cause a delay in the bedding’s launch. It appears that the delay will not be too long and the bedding will be in the air soon thanks to a clever workaround that Delta figured out. It will not technically import the bedding into the United States. It will be brought onto the aircraft at European airports and then be spread throughout Delta’s network.

The new Delta One® bedding will include the Missoni duvet and white sleeping pillow as well as a mattress pad that doubles as a lumbar pillow on Delta One® flights that are more than 12 hours. Delta will also introduce an additional memory foam cuddle pillow for long haul flights. The new Delta One® bedding set will launch on international Delta One® flights this summer and will be rolled out across all Delta One® flights by year’s end.

Mauricio Parise, VP of Brand Experience at Missoni, said:

In travel, every moment matters – not just where you’re going, but how you get there. We want you to savor your time in the air, which is why we are intentional about each detail of the customer experience to create a sense of home in every space, which is instantly elevated with Missoni’s iconic, signature designs. Our new Missoni collection will help you arrive at your destination feeling refreshed and ready for the journey ahead.”

In addition to the bedding, the amenity kits are being refreshed. The new kits will contain:

  • A bamboo toothbrush, Marvis toothpaste, and earplugs
  • Blue or cream-colored Missoni socks and an eye mask featuring the brand’s signature zigzag pattern
  • An upgraded pen featuring metal accents and Delta One® branding
  • Grown Alchemist skincare products

Anthony’s Take: Delta bills itself as a premium airline and has outdone itself with the Delta One® Lounges. These amenity kits and the bedding give it a luxe feel and really up the game of what is offered to Delta’s premium passengers while in flight.
