Last week, I wrote about Lufthansa’s first Airbus A350-900 with its new Allegris (Business Class) installed taking flight on May 1st from Munich International Airport (MUC) to Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Now details have emerged around the German airlines first Allegris lounge, which will debut at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in July.

Executive Traveller has the inside scoop around the new Lufthansa Allegris lounge. It will include a horseshoe-shaped bar, private meeting rooms, a relaxation area, and a la carte dining for First Class passengers in a separate dining room.

This is the first location with the new design and concepts within it. Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) (after its move to Terminal 6) will see similar designs in the near future. Across Lufthansa’s redesigned lounges, passengers will find dedicated zones for working, eating, drinking, and relaxing.

Anthony’s Take: The concept images featured by Executive Traveller look like quite the departure for Lufthansa with modern designs and warm tones. I can’t wait to check them out.
