After landing on a Delta Air Lines flight from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) (review here), we had around 90 minutes to spend in the Korean Air Prestige Lounge before our connection to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) on Korean Air (review here). This lounge located in Terminal 2 (near Gate 253) was the closest to our departure gate.

Access
Access is granted to passengers flying in Prestige Class, SKYPASS Million Miler Club and Morning Calm Premium Club members in Economy Class, SkyTeam Elite Plus members, SKYPASS Morning Calm Club members, and mileage redemption passengers using Korean Air Lounge Awards. There were automated entry lanes when entering the lounge as well as a desk for assistance.

The entrance was decorated for Christmas when we visited.

A second desk was inside for passenger assistance, but no employees were there while we were in the lounge.
Anthony’s Take: The food was impressive and the lounge seemed to keep going and going in terms of space. It offered showers, wellness rooms, and lots of seating. We were tired after the 16-hour flight from the United States, but this was a great place for a break, to get some food, and relax before the next leg.

Bar
There was a full bar with wine, liquor, and soft drinks in the center of the lounge.

There were several coffee machines around the lounge.

Apple and orange juice were near the buffet.

Food
Breakfast was being served during our visit. There was a buffet with both American and Korean dishes, fruit, yogurt, breads, and much more.

Seating & Decor
The lounge has a ton of seats across multiple rooms with different configurations for dining and working. It was fairly empty during our visit when we arrived, but filled up by the time we left. The decor is minimal and it works.

Amenities
This lounge offered free Wi-Fi, a departures board (pictured above), and the food and beverages mentioned above. There were also restrooms, wellness rooms, and showers here.

The showers can be booked via kiosk.

The wellness rooms are private and looked quite comfortable.

The wellness rooms feature a massage bed and a desk area.
Overall Impression:
I was quite pleased with this lounge and hope to visit again in the future. I was not too hungry, but next time I want to try more of the delicious looking Korean dishes here.
