I had a client dinner in Dallas last night and got to spend some time in the Delta Sky Club® upon arrival at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). This is a smaller lounge in the airport that’s dominated by American Airlines, but it was nice to have a spot to relax and work when flying Delta there.
Access
Access is granted to passengers with memberships (purchased annually), one-time pass holders (earned from the co-branded American Express cards), Delta One®, SkyTeam premium cabin passengers, SkyTeam Elite Plus when flying internationally in premium cabins, the Centurion® and The Platinum Card® from American Express holders (10 visits per year), Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card or the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card holders (15 visits per year), WestJet business class passengers, and WestJet Rewards Platinum and Gold Elite. Those with credit card access can purchase additional entries for $50 each after they have used their annual allotments.
Anthony’s Take: For an outstation, this was not a bad lounge. The food was a bit lacking, but the staff was really nice and it was not too crowded during my visit. It was a great spot to get some work done before heading on to the rest of my day after landing at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
When entering the lounge, there was an agent for credential checks.
The lounge is one large space with the buffet and bar to the left and lots of seating throughout.
Bar
A bar is on the left side of the lounge near the buffet. It offers all of the standard spirits, wine, and beer that Delta provides complimentary as well as some premium options for purchase.
Iced tea and water dispensers were to the side.
A separate area held a coffeemaker, drip coffee, tea, and condiments.
A Coca-Cola Freestyle machine was located nearby.
Food
Lunch/dinner was being served during my visit. The buffet has soups, salads, sandwiches, cold cuts, cheeses, and several hot dishes.
Sweet & Sour Chicken
Steamed Cabbage and Broccoli
Jasmine Rice
Salads
Ham and Cheese Sandwiches
Sandwich toppings
Tomato Bisque
Chicken Tortilla Soup
Fresh fruit
Rice Krispies Treats and Chocolate Chip Cookies
Seating & Decor
There is tons of seating in this Sky Club®. There are lots of tables, high tops, workstations, and desks around the space. I also liked a lot of the art throughout the lounge. Of American, Delta, and United, I find that Delta usually has the best decor and lots of fun, modern art.

Amenities
This Sky Club® offers free Wi-Fi, a printer and shredder (pictured above), magazines, a departures board, restrooms, and the food and beverages mentioned.
Magazines were near the entrance.
Overall Impression:
I enjoyed my time in the lounge. The food was lackluster (steamed cabbage is seriously meh), but the service and space made up for it.
